Major League: David Ortiz (WI '96), Boston. Big Papi went 2-for-5 with 3RBI in the Red Sox 10-1 win over the Angels.
Minor League: Juan Sandoval (WI '03), West Tennessee. Sandoval pitched two scoreless innings for his first save of the 2007 season. It has been a long road back for Sandoval after missing all of 2006.
