Midwest League Action (Games of 6/15)

June 15 scoreboard.

Wisconsin 6, @Clinton 3: Ending the half on an up note.

Dayton 8, @South Bend 7 (10 innings): Dragons stop slide.

Cedar Rapids 3, @Kane County 2: Coincidence?
On a day when the power was literally out at Elfstrom Stadium because of morning storms for the game's entirety, the Cougars' bats continued their midseason struggles, managing only six hits, all of which were singles, in a 3-2 loss as they stomached a three-game sweep at the hands of the Cedar Rapids Kernels to close out the first half.
Fort Wayne 8, @West Michigan 4: Don't worry, West Michigan. You are in the playoffs.

Burlington 3, @Peoria 3: Tie. On Father's Day. Get it?

Lansing 18, @Great Lakes 6: Eleven-run innings usually mean wins. This one meant a division title.

Beloit @ Quad Cities: Now this is just unfortunate.
Due to the consistently rising floodwaters of the Mississippi River, the City of Davenport and the Quad Cities River Bandits decided on Sunday morning to cancel the afternoon's scheduled series finale against the Beloit Snappers in the interest of fan safety.
Especially in light of this:

Bandits offer up park to flooded I-Cubs
If the Iowa Cubs can’t return to waterlogged Principal Park in Des Moines next week, the Quad-Cities River Bandits have offered Modern Woodmen Park as an alternative site for any games that can’t be played on Iowa’s home field.

Flooding forced the Triple-A team off of its diamond at the confluence of the Des Moines and Raccoon rivers on Friday for the scheduled start of an eight-day homestand.

Water surrounds the River Bandits’ home stadium as well, but the playing surface remained dry, and a 300-foot walkway provided elevated access for the 4,724 fans who showed up to watch the River Bandits play Beloit in a Midwest League game on Friday.
And this:

Cubs Take Two From Sounds
The Iowa Cubs took two from the Nashville Sounds beating them 7-0 and 7-1 at Principal Park on Sunday afternoon.
