Rattler History...Since 2000

Here is how the Rattlers have fared on July 16...since 2000.

2000: The Rattlers beat Dayton 2-1 at home with two runs in the bottom of the ninth. Sheldon Fulse drew a bases loaded walk to force in the tying run. Ariel Durango singled in the winning run. Rattler records after this game: 14-9 second half; 52-39 overall

2001: The Rattlers shutout Peoria 12-0 at Vonachen Stadium. Wilfredo Quintana and Derrick Gutierrez both homered and drove in three RBI. Jared Hoerman and Hawkeye Wayne combined on a 6-hit shutout. Rattler records after this game: 16-8, 58-34

2002: The Rattlers shutout South Bend 7-0 at Coveleski Stadium. Ryan Ketchner and Jeff Perez combined on the two-hit shutout. Gregg Dobbs drove in two runs for the Rattlers. Rattler records after this game: 4-20, 34-59

2003: The Rattlers were off. Rattler records on this date: 11-14, 49-42

2004: The Rattlers won 5-2 at South Bend. Jason Mackintosh, Kenly Change, and Brian Stitt allowed four hits. Josh Womack had three hits, scored two runs, and drove in a run. Rattler records after this game: 9-12, 40-50

2005: The Rattlers won 10-4 at Kane County. Matt Tuiasosopo drove in four runs. Wisconsin scored five runs in the fourth and four runs in the fifth. Rattler records after this game: 11-12, 50-43

2006: The Rattlers won 16-7 over Quad Cities at home. Luis Valbuena homered and drove in four runs. Johan Limonta knocked in three runs. Rattler records after this game: 7-17, 34-60

2007: The Rattlers were off. Rattler records on this date: 8-14, 30-60

A 6-0 record makes today an exceptional day in Timber Rattler history.
