Rattler History...Since 2000

Here is how the Rattlers have fared on July 18...since 2000.

2000: The Rattlers beat Burlington 7-6 at home. Ryan Christianson drove in the winning run with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth. Rattler records after this game: 16-9 second half, 54-39 overall

2001: The Rattlers beat Peoria 6-5 at home. Sheldon Fulse and Wilfredo Quintana hit homers for Wisconsin. Derrick Van Dusen pitched 7-1/3 innings and struck out eight for the win. Rattler Radio favorite Tim Burton got the final five outs for the save. Rattler records after this game: 17-9, 59-35

2002: The Rattlers were off. Wisconsin records on this date. 5-20, 35-59

2003: The Rattlers lost 6-3 at Quad Cities. TJ Bohn homered, but Scott Baker struck out eight and allowed two runs over six innings for the win. Rattler records after this game: 11-16, 49-44

2004: The Rattlers lost 6-5 at South Bend. The Silver Hawks scored five runs in the bottom of the seventh. Ryan Feierabend allowed one run on six hits over six innings for a no decision. Doug Slaten got the win for South Bend in relief. Rattler records after this game: 10-13, 41-51

2005: The Rattlers won 9-8 at Kane County. Mike Wilson homered and drove in three runs for Wisconsin. The Rattlers had a 9-4 lead, but the Cougars scored three runs off Adam Brandt in the ninth. Jon Lockwood allowed one of his own, but got the save. Rattler records after this game: 12-13, 51-44

2006: The Rattlers lost 7-2 at Quad Cities. Wisconsin scored twice in the eighth inning to avoid the shutout. Rattler records after this game: 8-18, 35-61

2007: The Rattlers game at Beloit was suspended after the top of the first. Rattler records on this date: 8-16, 30-62

A 3-3 record with a suspension. Eh. Okay day in Rattler history...since 2000.
