The Brewers Mike Caldwell beats the Yankees Ron Guidry 6-0. For Guidry (13-1)‚ it is his first loss of the season. Caldwell shut out the Yankees 9 days earlier‚ and will shut them out again on September 19th.
Only highlighted because I was at County Stadium this day. Larry Hisle hit a pair of homers and drove in four. Sixtooooooooo Leeeezzzzzcanooooooooooooooo had a solo homer. That ticket stub is around the trailer somewhere.
