Lots more happening

Just because there are only eleven home dates left in the regular season for the Timber Rattlers doesn't mean that there won't be plenty to do...

Fang's Birthday/Teddy Bear Toss on Aug. 16

For the second year in a row, Fang will have his friends joining him in his birthday celebration. Approximately 25 mascots will be in attendance for this celebration.

Fans can bring new or gently used Teddy Bears and throw them onto the field during the game. These Bears will be taken to area hospitals to help brighten children's spirits.

We should note that you may not throw the bears on the field at any time. There will be a specified point between innings when you will be asked to do this.

Last Throwback Friday to Feature Throwback Concession Prices
The last Throwback Friday of the year on August 17th will feature throwback pricing on some concession items as well as the conclusion of the jersey auction. Hot dogs, popcorn, and small sodas will be just 50 cents a piece. 80's music will also be played throughout the night as we give one last tribute to the 1982-84 Appleton Foxes, winners of three straight Midwest League Championships.

Friday night will be the night to get in your bids for the Throwback Jerseys. The silent auction noted in the excerpt will be held during the game and the winners can take the jerseys home after the game.

And a special treat on the final weekend of the season:

Let the Timber Rattlers do the cooking on Labor Day weekend
When the Timber Rattlers take on the Kane County Cougars on Labor Day weekend, you can enjoy a "Bang for Your Buck" weekend, featuring dollar hot dogs, sodas, and beer. In addition, the Miller High Life Home Run Porch, located in right field will have a special deal. For just $15 you can get porch seats and feast out on an all-you-can-eat Lead Off Hitter buffet.

"Bang for Your Buck" all Labor Day weekend. That should be fun. So should the rest of the season.
