SEATTLE (MAJ: 66-52; 2nd AL West): The Mariners were off on Thursday.
TACOMA (AAA: 58-68; 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers swept a doubleheader at Fresno. Tacoma won game one 3-2 with two runs in the top of the seventh. The Rainiers took game two by a 6-5 score. Jeff Clement (’05) had a pair of RBI for Tacoma in game two.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 51-72 overall; 20-33 second half; 5th second half Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx lost 8-5 to Huntsville. Marshall Hubbard (’05) and Rene Rivera (’03) both had homers for West Tennessee, but the Stars scored three times in the top of the ninth to break a 5-5 tie.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 49-75 overall; 18-36 second half; 5th second half California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 11-4 at Lancaster. Jesus Guzman had three RBI for the Mavs.
EVERETT (Short Season-A: 23-33; 4th Northwest League West Division): The AquaSox were off on Thursday.
AZL Mariners (Rookie: 29-17 overall; 9-8 second half T-3rd Arizona League): The AZL M’s beat the Athletics 12-7.
