#3: David Arias - 1996
.322 batting average, 89 runs, 156 hits, 34 doubles, 2 triples, 18 home runs, 93 rbi's, 3 stolen bases
David Arias would open the 1996 season as the starting first baseman for the Timber Rattlers. The soon-to-be power hitter had only hit 6 home runs in his career, so he started the season batting 7th in the lineup. He would get out of the gates hot, hitting 5 homers in his first 20 games and he had 13 by the end of June.

The Timber Rattlers made it all the way to the Midwest League Championship Series before succumbing to the West Michigan Whitecaps in game four. It would be the last game Arias would play in the Mariners organization.
