While playing catch with their dads, most young lads can only dream of playing professional baseball.

But for Josh Lindblom, being drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the second round out of Purdue University has made that dream come true.

"The opportunity to live my dream is what this is all about," said Lindblom, 21, who has joined the Great Lakes Loons but is not yet on the team's active roster.

"Ever since I've been little playing catch in the living room with a sock, it has been a dream of mine (to play professional baseball)," said the 6-foot, 5-inch, 240- pound Lindblom, who was the 61st pick overall in the 2008 draft.
