Brewers: May 14-17, 1982

May 14, 1982: Brewers win 2-1 at White Sox. Gorman Thomas drove in both Brewer runs with a pair of solo homers off Rich Dotson. Jim Slaton pitched 5-2/3 innings and gave up just one run. Dwight Bernard, Jamie Easterly, and Rollie Fingers finished off the Sox.

May 15, 1982: Crew pulls away late for an 8-3 win over the White Sox. The game was tied 3-3 heading into the top of the eighth. Don Money drove in two runs with a double to break the tie. May 16, 1982: Sox stop Brewers 6-1. Paul Molitor singled to start the game. Robin Yount followed with a single and an error on the play allowed Molitor to score. That was about it for Milwaukee. It was Steve Kemp Day as the Sox slugger drove in three runs.

May 17, 1982: The '82 Brewers were off today.

Up next is a series that starts on May 18 at County Stadium. The California Angels are in town.
