The Mariners organization can quit worrying about the left elbow of prospect Justin Thomas.
A scoreless five innings for Class AA West Tenn on May 12, followed by five more innings Friday prove that.
"It's feeling fine, and I am now back at full speed again," said Thomas, 23, who missed most of April after having soreness and swelling in the elbow. "It was the first time that I've ever missed a start as a professional and the first time I've ever been injured where I couldn't play, so it was difficult. I'm just real happy to be back pitching again."
A place to follow the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, the Midwest League, Minor League baseball, Major League Baseball, and everything in between in that order.
