SEATTLE (MAJ: 58-47; 2nd AL West): The Mariners lost 8-0 to the Angels. Jeff Weaver allowed six runs on seven hits over four innings to take the loss.
TACOMA (AAA: 49-62; 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers shutout Oklahoma 5-0. Oswaldo Navarrro (’05) had a pair of RBI for Tacoma. Jorge Campillo pitched five innings and allowed two hits for the win.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 47-62 overall; 16-23 second half; 5th second half Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx lost 5-2 to Tennessee. Joe Woerman (’06) allowed five runs – four earned – on six hits over 5-1/3 innings to take the loss.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 41-68 overall; 10-29 second half; 5th second half California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 18-5 to San Jose. The Giants scored twelve runs in the top of the seventh inning. Nathan Adcock (’07) allowed five runs – three earned – on seven hits over five innings for a no decision.
EVERETT (Short Season-A: 16-25; 4th Northwest League West Division): The AquaSox beat Vancouver 8-3. Greg Halman (’07) had a pair of hits, including a home run, and two RBI. Wellington Dotel had four hits and a pair of RBI for Everett.
AZL Mariners (Rookie: 23-9 overall; 3-1 second half T-1st Arizona League): The AZL M’s were off on Tuesday.
