TACOMA (AAA: 53-64; 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 6-0 to Nashville. Bryan LaHair (’04) had a double for one of Tacoma’s five hits.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 49-65 overall; 18-26 second half; 5th second half Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx beat Carolina 6-5. Marshall Hubbard broke a 3-3 tie with a three-run homer in the eighth inning to give West Tennessee a lead. Mumba Rivera (’05) allowed two runs in the bottom of the ninth, but held on for the save.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 46-68 overall; 15-29 second half; 5th second half California League South Division): The Mavericks were off on Monday.
EVERETT (Short Season-A: 21-26; 4th Northwest League West Division): The AquaSox lost 4-2 in eleven innings to Tri-City. The loss ended Everett’s seven-game winning streak.
AZL Mariners (Rookie: 26-11 overall; 6-3 second half T-2nd Arizona League): The AZL M’s beat the Royals 2-1.
