SEATTLE (MAJ: 61-49; 2nd AL West): The Mariners won 10-3 at Baltimore. Raul Ibanez (Foxes, ’94) hit a pair of home runs and drove in four runs. Jeff Weaver scattered eleven hits and allowed three runs for the win.
TACOMA (AAA: 53-65; 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 6-3 to Nashville. Bryan LaHair (’04) drove in two of Tacoma’s three runs.
WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 49-66 overall; 18-27 second half; 5th second half Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx lost 4-2 at Carolina. Rene Rivera (’03) had a pair of hits and scored a run for West Tennessee.
HIGH DESERT (High-A: 46-69 overall; 15-30 second half; 5th second half California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 6-5 in twelve innings at Rancho Cucamonga. Johan Limonta (’06) went 5-for-6 with two runs scored. The Mavs scored a run in the top of the twelfth, but the Quakes scored twice in the bottom of the twelfth to end High Desert's winning streak at five.
EVERETT (Short Season-A: 22-26; 4th Northwest League West Division): The AquaSox beat Tri-City 8-6. Rob Harmon (’07) allowed four runs on nine hits over 5-2/3 innings for the win.
AZL Mariners (Rookie: 26-13 overall; 6-4 second half 3rd Arizona League): The AZL M’s lost 6-5 to the Brewers.
