Mariner System Report (Games of 7/14)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 37-58 4th American League West): The Mariners were off on Monday.

TACOMA (AAA: 48-50, 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 13-3 at Las Vegas. Wladimir Balentien (’04) hit a two-run homer for Tacoma.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 49-46, 8-17 5th Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx were off on Monday.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 43-52, 11-14 second half T-4th California League South Division): The Mavericks beat Modesto 6-4. Joe Simonkaitis hit a two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning to break a 4-4 tie.

EVERETT (Short Season-A: 11-16, 2nd Northwest League Western Division): The AquaSox lost 8-5 to Eugene. Ryan Feierabend (’04) made a rehab start for Everett and struck out nine over 4-2/3 innings. But, the Emeralds scored five times in the top of the seventh for the win.

PULASKI (Rookie: 18-8, 1st Appalachian League East Division): The M’s beat Bluefield 7-5. Fabian Williamson (’07) allowed one run on five hits over five innings for the tenth straight Pulaski win.

PEORIA (Rookie: 7-12 8th Arizona League): The AZL M’s lost 3-2 to the Rangers.
