The '97 Mariners beat the Orioles 3-2 in eleven innings at Camden Yards on May 10.
Joey Cora hit a leadoff home run off Scott Kamieniecki in the first inning, but Baltimore scored an unearned run in the fourth to tie the game. In the seventh, Brady Anderson singled in a run off Jeff Fassero for a 2-1 lead.
Seattle tied the game in the eighth. Alex Rodriguez doubled off Jesse Orosco and stole second. Ken Griffey's sac fly made the score 2-2.
In the eleventh, Jeff Blowers pinch hit for Rob Ducey and came through with a two-out RBI single to drive in the go ahead run.
Norm Charlton, who entered the game in the bottom of the ninth, pitched a scoreless eleventh ad the M's had the win.

The '97 M's are 21-13 after the win. They remain in first place in the AL West, two games in front of the Texas Rangers.
Seattle and Baltimore conclude their series on May 11.
