Here is how the Rattlers have fared July 2 through July 10, 2003:
July 2: The Rattlers won 7-1 at Quad City. Jon Nelson homered twice and knocked in four runs. TJ Bohn was credited with a homer when the base umpire ruled a ball that three-hopped to the wall went out for a home run. Daren Brown actually laughed as Bohn rounded third. BOBBY! Livingston was his eleventh game of the season with eight strong innings.
July 3: The Rattlers won 12-2 at Quad City. Corey Harrington had five hits and the Rattler offense banged out 21 hits in the game. Juan Sandoval pitched eight shutout innings for the win.
July 4: Clinton beat the Rattlers 1-0 in Grand Chute. Nate Gold homered in the second inning off TA Fulmer. The Rattlers had just three hits.
July 5: Clinton beat the Rattlers 8-3 in Grand Chute. The defense committed four errors and the LumberKings scored four unearned runs off Cesar Jimenez.
July 6: The Rattlers lost 7-5 to Clinton at home.
July 7: The Rattlers lost 8-3 to Dayton at home. Ryan Fry homered twice and drove in five runs for the Dragons.
July 8: The Rattlers lost 6-4 to Dayton in Grand Chute. Jason Vavao hit a grand slam off Juan Sandoval to give the Dragons a 4-3 lead.
July 9: The Rattlers shutout Dayton 9-0 at home. Matt Hagen and Chad Ehrnsberger both homered. TA Fulmer pitched eight shutout innings and allowed two hits for the win.
July 10: The Rattlers led Dayton 6-3 in the top of the fifth inning. There were two on and one out for the Dragons. Then, the rain started. The game was not restarted and since it was not an official game, this was a rain out.
