Butler's Arm

Brett has the story on the Rattler pitcher:

Rattlers' Butler has tired arm
A tired arm is all that appears to be plaguing Wisconsin Timber Rattlers hurler Tony Butler.

The 19-year-old Oak Creek native was placed on the disabled list on Tuesday and missed his scheduled start Thursday against Dayton at [Time Warner Cable Field at] Fox Cities Stadium.

"He's fine," Rattlers pitching coach Lance Painter said. "His last two outings, you just saw the velocity dropping. He complained during his last outing of feeling dead arm. As a precaution, we're just missing a start."
...
"I felt like I threw the ball 200 or 300 times that day," Butler said of his last start, a two-inning outing that saw him allow five earned runs, walk three and strike out one in a 9-3 loss to Fort Wayne last Saturday.
"There was no soreness, no extra stiffness, no pain anywhere. It was just one of those times where you felt you had nothing left on the arm. Every single day after that I've felt progress."
