The '97 M's wrapped up their series with the Brewers on a high note, a 9-0 shutout. Jamie Moyer pitched scoreless baseball over seven innings and allowed just five hits for the win.
Cal Eldred got knocked around in the middle innings. Seattle scored twice in the fourth, once in the fifth, and three times in the sixth for a 6-0 lead.
Dan Wilson was the hitting hero for the M's with a 2-for-4 day and four RBI.

The M's are now 18-12 and still 1/2 game in front of the Rangers for the AL West lead.
Next up is an off day on May 5 before a series in Chicago against the White Sox.
