It wasn't as easy as the final score may show, but the '82 Brewers beat the Royals 9-5 at County Stadium on May 4.
The Crew were trailed KC 5-3 heading into the bottom of the fifth.
Ben Oglivie's sixth home run of the season brought the Brewers to within 5-4.
Larry Hisle walked to start the sixth inning and Charlie Moore hit his first home run of the season to give Milwaukee a 6-5 lead. The Brewers tacked on three more runs in the bottom of the seventh with a Dave Concepcion error on a potential double play ball helping greatly.
Jim Slaton pitched 4-1/3 innings of scoreless relief for the win.

The win puts Milwaukee's record at 12-9 and in third place in the AL East. They still trail Boston by 3-1/2 games.
The Brewers and Royals wrap up their series on May 5 at County Stadium.
