The '97 M's beat the White Sox 7-6 at new Comiskey on May 6. They did it with a late rally.

Russ Davis doubled in the first run. Alvaro Espinoza singled in the second run. Rich Amaral singled in the tying and go ahead runs for a 7-6 lead.
Norm Charlton worked a 1-2-3 ninth inning for the save That 1-2-3 included getting Albert Belle looking at strike three to end the game.
