Seattle (MAJ: 56-68; 4th AL West): The Mariners were off on Monday.
Tacoma (AAA – 70-59; 2nd PCL Pacific Northern Division): Tacoma beat Las Vegas 7-3. Jon Nelson (WI ’03) homered and drove in two runs. Jeff Clement (WI ’05) had a pair of RBI. Bobby Livingston (WI ’03) gave up ten hits but only one run over six innings for the win.
San Antonio (AA – 54-71; 27-30 second half 4th Texas League South Division): San Antonio shutout Tulsa 10-0. Yung Chi Chen (WI ’05) had five RBI for the Missions. Robert Rohrbaugh (WI ’05) struck out six and allowed just three hits over seven innings for the win.
Inland Empire (High-A – 66-60, 27-29 second half; 3rd California League South Division): Inland Empire was no hit by High Desert 2-0. Former Burlington Bee Patrick Green pitched the first 6-2/3 innings and Jarrod Plummer finished off the 66ers. Cibney Bello (WI ’05) allowed one run on four hits over eight innings for the loss.
Everett (Short Season-A – 28-33; 4th Northwest League West Division): Everett lost 4-1 to Yakima. The Sox had three hits. Rollie Gibson (WI ’06) pitched 2-1/3 scoreless innings and gave up two hits and struck out three without allowing a run.
AZL M’s (Rookie – 24-24; 10-10 5th Arizona League): The Mariners game with the Padres was rained out.
