Roster Day

One of the things teams in the Midwest League are supposed to do is send out their rosters on the 15th and 30th of every month. This is even when there are no moves or changes.

There have been no roster moves for the Rattlers since Opening Day, but there are a few corrections that needed to be made. I was just waiting for the 15th to make those changes on the official roster.

Here they are:

Pitcher Pedro Lambertus is 5'10"

Pitcher Daniel Meadows was a '08 draft pick

Infielder Brock Kjeldgaard's birthday is 1/22/86

Infielder Brett Lawrie resides in Langley, British Columbia, Canada

Infielder Michael Marseco is a switch hitter

The infield is led by the Brewers 1st round pick in the 2008 draft (16th overall), Brett Lawrie. After signing with Milwaukee , Lawrie participated with the Canadian National Team in the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing , China . The 3rd best Brewers prospect according to Baseball America will be making his professional debut with the Timber Rattlers.
