Jared Gayhart went to Katy High School – district rival of Cinco Ranch High School where Daniel Meadows played. Katy HS was District Champion his senior year – 2005; and Cinco was the Champion the next year when Daniel was a senior. They later played on the same summer team- before Jared went to Rice.Gayhart pitched a scoreless ninth inning last night for the Whitecaps.
