Rattlers Spring Training Game #2

The Timber Rattlers beat the Kannapolis Intimidators 8-4.Kannapolis is the South Atlantic League affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.

There was some familiarity between the teams. The Brewers and White Sox have affiliates in the Arizona League and the Pioneer League.

I'll have a fuller writeup on the day over at the main Rattlers website later tonight.

A couple of things that you may notice in the unofficial boxscore below: A lot of walks by Rattlers pitchers. And it was very good to see Santo Mazanillo on the hill.

Three things that I will note in the writeup, but is not indicated below.

1. I had five errors for the defense today
2. Despite the errors, the defense made some very nice plays
3. There were a lot of stolen bases for the Intimidators.
   

All of those are of note, but not of concern this early in Spring Training. But, the possible future Rattlers are 2-0.
