Remembering 1982

in song.

The top 10 songs of 1982 according to this list. Please note, that it is not the Billboard Top 10 for that 1982. Despite the inclusion of Quarterflash on the Billboard list, I'm going to go with the listmaker's choices.

Rattler Radio Challenge: Can you name the songs without clicking on the link and by just looking at the freeze frame of the YouTube video?

Scouts honor here...

1) I know I "met her in a cocktail bar." Not for sure on the name of the song, but something to the effect of Don't You Want Me. And i'm guessing on the band, Human League?

2) No idea...

3) I don't even know what that is... Triumph's Tears In The Rain?...(just kidding)(or am i?)

4) Big reach...Mr. Mister's Kyrie Elesion (i think i'm way off on the year)

5) Ah yes, the cascading screens......Heat of the Moment, Asia

6) No idea...But i know it's not Triumph

7) I want to say the Tubes, She's a Beauty, but for some reason that gawd awful geometric spandex thing that woman has one what's me to go with Steve Miller Band, Abracadabra

8) A breather...Flock of Seagulls, I Ran (scoop of chocolate, scoop of vanilla...)

9) First thought, Money for Nothing, Dire Straits?

10) All right one more time, Triumph? Tears in the Rain?

4/10...I suck. But in my defense there was not Mr. Mister or Toto or Triumph or Kajagoogoo...

Speaking of Mr. Mister, i had to look up the year (1985) and it led me to the YouTube video. You wanna start your Tuesday off right, watch the Kyrie video. That IS the 80's. What a pleasant song.

I look forward to the Heavy/Hair metal edition. And just so you don't think you can slide one by me Chris, i'm well versed in Trixter, Killer Dwarfs, Danger Danger, Autograph, Brittany Fox, TNT, LA Guns and Keel!!! :)

Have a good day Chris...

Oh, and one more thing. No Mr. Mister...Ever!

I'll take those broken wings and shove....

Whoops! A little too real there for a second. Sorry.

Awwwwwwwe, no Mr. Mister? Why no Mr. Mister?

Devilishly good (80's) looks, lead singer plays base, catchy songs and the most important part of any good 80's band.....a synthesizer.
