Bases on balls, hit batters spell doom

The Brewers had major problems identifying the strike zone and walked or hit 15 batters, seven of which scored for the Cubs. The Cubs also had four runs "batted" in on two walks and two hit batters.

In other words, the Brewers kind of gave one away.

"Yeah," manager Ken Macha said. "That's a fair assessment."
