Mariner System Report (Games of 4/16)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 5-3; 1st AL West): The Mariners were off on Monday.

TACOMA (AAA: 4-8; 3rd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers lost 4-3 at home to Sacramento. Wladimir Balentien (WI ’04) homered for Tacoma. Ryan Feierabend (WI ’04) gave up three runs (two earned) in six innings and took the loss. Former Kane County Cougar Kevin Mellilo had a big defensive play late to keep the Rainiers from tying the game.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 4-7; 4th Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx lost 9-0 in their home opener to Mississippi. Chris Minaker (WI ’06) had the only three hits of the game for West Tennessee. The Braves hit three home runs in the game.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 3-8; T-4th California League South Division): The Mavericks were off on Monday.
