Arne Thorsland went 11-2/3 innings allowed three hits, walked seven, and struck out 15. The hits that he allowed: One hit in the second and two hits in the third. That's it.
Pete Ward went 4-for-7 in the game, but it was Cal Ripken, Sr. who had the big hit. Ripken hit a game-winning, three-run homer in the bottom of the 15th!
The Foxes win moved their record to 49-32. They are in first place and six games up on Sioux City in the Three-I League.

Edwin Correa pitched a complete game and struck out six for his eighth win of the season.
Mike Taylor had three hits, scored two runs, and drove in a run. Troy Thomas hit a homer for the Foxes.
The Foxes are 58-35 on the season. They are still in first place in the Northern Division of the Midwest League. The Kenosha Twins moved into a tie with the Madison Muskies for second place. Both are 11.5 games behind the Foxes.
