Mariner System Report (Games of 4/15)

SEATTLE (MAJ: 5-3; 1st AL West): The Mariners beat Texas 14-6 at home. Seattle's offense banged out fourteen hits in the win. Ichiro was 4-for-5 with a home run, four runs scored, and two RBI. Adrian Beltre homered and knocked in four runs. Jose Vidro hit a pair of home runs and also drove in four.

TACOMA (AAA: 4-7; T-2nd Pacific Coast League Pacific Northern Division): The Rainiers beat Sacramento 4-1. Cha Seung Baek pitched six innings and allowed one run on five hits for the win. Tacoma scored all four runs in the bottom of the fifth. Adam Jones (WI ’04) knocked in one run in the inning and Bryan LaHair (WI ’04) drove in a pair of runs. Eric O’Flaherty (WI ’05) pitched a scoreless ninth for the save.

WEST TENNESSEE (AA: 4-6; 3rd Southern League North Division): The Diamond Jaxx were off on Sunday.

HIGH DESERT (High-A: 3-8; T-4th California League South Division): The Mavericks lost 4-1 at Lake Elsinore. Marwin Vega (WI ’06) struck out six and took a no-hitter into the sixth inning, but allowed two runs in the bottom of the sixth for the loss. Johan Limonta (WI ’06) hit a solo homer to account for the only High Desert run.
