Arizona Fall League: Scottsdale 9, Peoria Javelinas 3. Ricky Orta ('07) was the only Rattler alum to get in the game. He worked a scoreless, hitless inning with one strikeout for the Javs.
Hawaii Winter Baseball: North Shore 8, Waikiki BeachBoys 1. Mike Wilson ('05) was the only ex-Rattler to play. Wilson was 0-for-4 and struck out three times.
Liga Venezuela Beisbol Profesional: Magallanes @ Lara was not reported on the scoreboard. Lara's game on 10/18 at Aragua was rained out. That should catch up things in Venezuela.
Liga de Beisbol Dominicano has opened their season. Plenty of ex-Rattlers playing (or scheduled to play or on the rosters) there. Sebastien Boucher for Aguilas Cibaenas. Damaso Marte, Juan Beltran, Leury Bonilla, and Eddy Hernandez for Estrellas de Oriente. Aquilino Lopez and Enmanuel Ulloa for Gigantes del Cibao. Julio Mateo, Rafael Soriano, Ogui Diaz, and David Ortiz for Leones del Escogido. Melqui Torres and Carlos Peguero for Tigres del Licey.
