A couple of Midwest League awards...
The Rawlings Woman Executive of the Year was awarded to Jessica Fergesen, the Kernels Director of Community Relations, as the individual who has made an outstanding contribution to her club, league or baseball during the past season.October 11, 2007 – The Midwest League of Professional Baseball Clubs announced its 2007 Executive Award Winners and the Cedar Rapids Kernels garnered two of the four awards.
The John H. Johnson President’s Trophy was awarded to the Kernels as the club who best exemplifies the standards of the complete baseball franchise, such as financial success of operation, contributions to the baseball community and baseball industry, and long-term franchise stability.
