The first time the Burlington Bees headed to the clubhouse Monday night it was with the lead. The second time — and the most important time — the Beloit Snappers were ahead.
Burlington held a one-run advantage in the top of the ninth when the teams' Midwest League game was postponed because of rain. An hour and two minutes later, the teams came back out onto the Community Field playing surface.
This time when the teams left the field, Beloit came away with a 6-4 victory.
