@Quad Cities 7, Wisconsin 1 -- This doesn't read any better on either web site this moring.
Peoria 10, @Kane County 0 -- Donny Veal was nails last night for the Chiefs. They are known (for now) as the second place Kane County Cougars.
@West Michigan 7, Fort Wayne 1 -- Burke Badenhop gave up ten hits, but (get this) didn't walk anybody and the Whitecaps cruised to the win.
Lansing 9, @South Bend 2 -- There's a reason South Bend's Mark Haley was manager of the year in 2005. With gems like, "You can't make plays on balls that go over the fence." after the Lugnuts hit three homers at South Bend last night, he must be recognized.
@Dayton 5, Southwest Michigan 2 -- The new-look Dragons had a different result, a win.
Beloit 5, @Cedar Rapids 2 -- Snappers score five in the seventh and beat the Kernels.
@Clinton 6, Burlington 5 -- LumberKings score three in the bottom of the ninth to beat Burlington. The world did not end after that happened.
