A good thing about no baseball game last night was a chance to watch the end of Game Five of the Stanley Cup Finals between Carolina and Edmonton.
In the post-goal celebration, I saw former Green Bay Gamblers Ty Conklin and Matt Greene as part of the swarm around Fernando Pisani. Conklin was gone from the Gamblers by the time I got there, but Greene was a very good defenceman (as they spell it in Canada) during one of my seasons covering the team.
