Monday in the MWL

Wisconsin 4, @Lansing 2 -- It was a long time coming for Ruben Flores. The Lansing perspective was too many runners left on base.

@Dayton 1, West Michigan 0 -- On a night of a great pitchers' duel, the lede in the Dayton Daily News mentions the umps getting back to work. Carlos Fisher seven shutout innings for the win.

Quad Cities 10, @Southwest Michigan 4 -- They are shocked in Battle Creek that Wade Davis actually can give up more than a run or two.

@Peoria 1, Clinton 0 --You would think that a 1-0 game deserves a better write-up than this by the hometown paper.

@Cedar Rapids 4, Fort Wayne 3 -- A guy named Larry hits a game-winning, three run homer in the bottom of the ninth for the Kernels.

@Burlington 2, Kane County 1 (14 innings) -- Walk-off homer or walk-off wild pitch? The Bees are just fine with the latter, thank you.

@Beloit 2, South Bend 1 -- Kyle Waldrop was dealing; Eli Tintor homered; Snappers win.
