Mariner System Report (For 6/26)

Seattle (MAJ: 38-39; 3rd AL West): Seattle was off on Monday.

Tacoma (AAA – 42-35; 2nd PCL Pacific Northern Division): Tacoma beat Las Vegas 6-1 for their eighth win in a row. Cha Seung Baek (WI ’00) gave up one run on seven hits over 7-1/3 innings for the win. Shin-soo Choo (WI ’02) went 4-for-5 with a pair of runs scoring. Emiliano Fruto (WI ’02) picked up the save with 1-2/3 innings of scoreless work.

San Antonio (AA – 31-42; 4-1 second half T-1st Texas League South Division): San Antonio beat Arkansas 4-3. Jesus Guzman drove in three of the Mission runs. Sebastien Boucher (WI ’05) had two hits and drove in the other run. Eric O’Flaherty (WI ’05) pitched two scoreless innings for the win and Mark Lowe (WI ’05) pitched a scoreless ninth for his third save.

Inland Empire (High-A – 43-32, 4-1 second half; T-1st California League South Division): Inland Empire was off yesterday.

Everett (Short Season-A – 7-1; T-1st Northwest League West Division): Everett beat Yakima 9-4. The Sox built a 9-0 lead before the Bears got on the board with four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. Adam Moore had three more hits and knocked in a pair. Kuo-Hui Lo had a homer. Natividad Dilone pitched 4-2/3 scoreless innings, but did not qualify for the win.

AZL M’s (Rookie – 4-0; 1st Arizona League): The Mariners were off on Monday.
