Mariner System Report (Games of 9/13)

Seattle (MAJ: 69-75; 4th AL West): The Mariners lost 10-0 to Toronto. Cha Seung Baek (WI '00) gave up six runs on seven hits over 3-1/3 innings for the loss. Oswaldo Navarro (WI '05) got his first major league hit in the game. Ryan Feierabend (WI '04) pitched two scoreless innings with a pair of strikeouts in his major league debut.

Inland Empire (2nd round California League Playoffs): The 66ers were off yesterday, but they found out that they will be playing Visalia in the California League Championship Series. The Oaks beat San Jose 5-2 in Game Five of the North Division Finals last night. That begins tonight in Visalia. sbsun.com doesn't have a preview article, but they do have this Some Sixers don't want to repeat last season. It has to do with the members of the 2005 Rattlers, who lost in the championship series getting a chance to win a championship as members of the 2006 Sixers.
