Mariner System Report (Games of 9/15)

Seattle (MAJ: 70-77; 4th AL West): The Mariners beat Kansas City 11-8. Adrian Beltre drove in five runs as the M's rallied from a 6-0 deficit for the win. TJ Bohn (WI '03) hit his first major league home run, a two-run shot in the top of the ninth, to put a cap on the comeback.

Inland Empire (California League Championship Series): The 66ers lost 10-5 at Visalia. The Oaks have tied the Cal League Championship Series at one win a piece. Inland Empire led 5-3 after the top of the sixth inning. But, the Oaks scored seven times in the bottom of the sixth and cruised to the win. Luis Valbuena (WI '06) had three hits, scored two runs, and drove in one for Inland Empire. Brent Johnson (WI '05) added two RBI for the Sixers.
