Group brings baseball to Dayton
[Billy] Thornton is the baseball commissioner and a coach for the Scout Reach All Stars, a league that sprouted three years ago to bring scouting and baseball into the city's urban core.Thanks to various partnerships between the Boy Scouts of America's Miami Valley Council, the Mathile Family Foundation, the city, the Cincinnati Reds, Dayton Dragons and local businesses, the crack of the bat is once again heard at refurbished fields.
