Cedar Rapids 8, @Beloit 5: Tough losses for the Snappers. How tough?

After the Snappers lost 8-5 to the Cedar Rapids Kernels, manager Nelson Prada said the team would be without regular outfield starters Joe Benson and Chris Parmelee for at least a month. Benson has a stress fracture in his back, something he has been battling for over a month, while Parmelee, the team's home run and RBI leader, injured his wrist while running into the wall during the team's recent road trip.

That tough.
