Seattle (MAJ: 25-33; T-3rd AL West): Seattle lost 9-4 to Kansas City. Jarrod Washburn gave up seven runs over 4-1/3 innings for the loss. Adrian Beltre had a pair of hits, including a homer, and drove in two runs.
Tacoma (AAA – 28-27; 3rd PCL Pacific Northern Division): Tacoma lost 4-3 at Colorado Springs. Bobby Livingston (WI ’03) allowed three runs on nine hits over six innings for a loss.
San Antonio (AA – 20-34; 4th Texas League South Division): San Antonio lost 1-0 at Wichita. The Missions managed just four hits. Jon Nelson (WI ’03) had two of the four hits for the Missions.
Inland Empire (High-A – 33-23; 1st California League South Division): Inland Empire lost 10-9 to Rancho Cucamonga in ten innings. The 66ers scored four runs in the top of the eighth inning to take a 9-5 lead. But, the Quakes scored four in the bottom of the ninth and one in the bottom of the tenth for the victory. Yung Chi Chen (WI ’05) homered and drove in four runs. Josh Womack (WI ’05) had three hits and scored three runs.
