Odds & Ends 7/26

The Number One overall pick in the 2005 draft is in town. So, it must be time for the hometown paper to get a story about Justin Upton:

Expectation and reality are as different as a pit bull and a poodle when it comes to South Bend center fielder Justin Upton, whom the Arizona Diamondbacks selected with the first overall pick of the 2005 June draft.

I'm not sure where Brett came up with this, but I'm not even going to think about stealing it.

Please keep sharp objects away from the guys over at The Wisconsin Sportsbar:

Nice to see the Brewers were back in full Ben Sheets Start form. You know what I am talking about score no runs for Ben if they can help it. Prince goofed and hit a homerun but not to worry Dave Bush took care of the rest.

No picture of the Chorizo, but there is apparently room for one more on the warning track at Miller Park:
On Thursday, the Milwaukee Brewers and Klement's Sausage Co. are expected to introduce the Chorizo as the newest member of the Famous Racing Sausages, according to a source with knowledge of the promotion.
