Monday in the MWL

Burlington 12, @Wisconsin 5 -- The Bees bats woke up to bang out 18 hits.

Dayton 3, @Southwest Michigan 1 (11 innings) -- The Devil Rays bats stayed in bed, but the loss was all the ump's fault. Marinette, Wisconsin native Greg Reinhard pitched very well, but got a no decision.

South Bend 4, @West Michigan 0 -- The Whitecap bats slept through the snooze alarm, too. Justin Upton didn't.

Fort Wayne 5, @Lansing 0 -- Did all the home teams in the league have a tough time scoring runs yesterday? The Lugnuts only got four hits off a pitcher named Stevie.

@Quad Cities 10, Clinton 5 -- Nevermind. SWING win big over the L-Kings.

@Peoria 2, Beloit 1 -- The Chiefs scored two runs in the eighth inning, but it was enough. Ed Campusano got save number thirteen.

Kane County 6, @Cedar Rapids 4 -- Won their sixth straight has the evil empire. Scored four in the first, last night they did.
