Wednesday in the MWL

@Kane County 2, Wisconsin 0 (6 inn.) -- "Rain" shortened game goes to Cougars.

Fort Wayne @ Dayton (PPD) -- It must have really been bad in Dayton for them to call that game. Enjoy a Dragons notebook.

South Bend 6, @ Southwest Michigan 2 -- Five Devil Ray errors didn't make it easy for Wisconsin native Greg Reinhard.

@Peoria 6, West Michigan 2 -- Mark Reed homered again for the Chiefs. Peoria didn't need Ed Campusano, who is 11-for-11 in save opportunities this season.

@Burlington 7, Lansing 2 -- The Bees have won four straight! They got some hitting in a win over the Lugnuts to get #4.

Beloit 7, @ Clinton 6 (10 innings) -- Beloit has won four straight, too. The Snappers led 6-2 going into the bottom of the ninth. Clinton scored four runs to tie the game. But, Tarrance Patterson's RBI single in the tenth was the game winner.

Quad Cities 5, @ Cedar Rapids 1 -- Cory Meacham is the hero. Moose takes the loss.
