In many respects, he embodies Division III itself. Just as there are no scholarships to be had in D-III, there is little profitability to be made in this endeavor, at least at this point. It's a labor of love.
"It's mostly my wife that has a problem with it," said Dixon of his site, billed as the No. 1 source for Division III baseball information, a point no one could possibly argue.
"But she's supportive. I would bring her to Appleton but, in reality, six days in Appleton is probably not what she wants."
