Milwaukee Brewer Report: Games of April 21, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 4-9; 6th National League Central): The Brewers lost 11-4 at Philadelphia. Manny Parra allowed five runs on seven hits over four innings to take the loss. Ryan Braun went 5-for-5 with a pair of homers and four RBI for the Milwaukee offense.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 8-5; T-1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds won 9-1 at Nashville. Mat Gamel had a pair of hits, including a home run, and drove in four for Nashville. That's five straight wins for the Sounds.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 6-6; 2nd Southern League South Division): The Stars beat Carolina 2-1. Huntsville scored a pair of unearned runs in the top of the seventh. Juan Sandoval (’03) pitched a scoreless ninth for the save. Three Star pitchers allowed four hits in the win.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 7-4; T-1st Florida State League East Division): The Manatees won 10-2 at Tampa. Caleb Gindl went 4-for-4 with three RBI for Brevard County.
