Milwaukee Brewer Report: Games of April 27, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 9-10; 5th National League Central): The Brewers beat Pittsburgh 10-5. The Brewers snapped a 5-5 tie with five runs in the bottom of the eighth inning. Rickie Weeks homered and drove in four runs for Milwaukee. Ryan Braun and Mike Cameron also homered for Milwaukee.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 10-9; 4th Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 7-3 to Iowa. Mat Gamel homered for Nashville, but the Cubs, who hit four home runs in the game, broke a 3-3 tie with a run in the top of the sixth and three more in the top of the eighth.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 10-8; 1st Southern League South Division): The Stars lost 6-3 at Chattanooga. The Lookouts scored six runs in the second inning for an early lead.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 11-6; 1st Florida State League East Division): The Manatees lost 4-2 to Daytona. The Cubs scored twice in the first and twice in the second to build the early lead.
