Milwaukee Brewer Report: Games of April 23, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 6-9; 5th National League Central): The Brewers won 6-1 at Philadelphia. Milwaukee starter Dave Bush took a no-hitter into the bottom of the eighth inning, but Scott Stairs broke it up with a one out homer. Ryan Braun and Bill Hall both homered for Milwaukee. Prince Fielder drove in three runs to help the Brewers to their second straight win.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 9-6; 2nd Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds won 7-6 at Memphis. Mat Gamel and Brendan Katin each drove in three runs for the offense. Tim Dillard allowed four runs (one earned) on one hit over six innings for the win.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 7-7; 2nd Southern League South Division): The Stars beat Carolina 2-1. Vinny Rottino and Kevin Melillo each drove in a run for Huntsville and the bullpen held on for the victory.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 8-5; T-1st Florida State League East Division): The Manatees lost 6-0 at Tampa. Road trip roundup, anyone?
