Milwaukee Brewers Report: Games of May 26, 2009

MILWAUKEE (MAJ: 27-19; T-1st National League Central): The Brewers lost 8-1 to St. Louis. The Cardinals scored three runs in the top of the fourth inning to open up a 5-1 lead. Prince Fielder drove in the only run for the Brewers.

NASHVILLE (AAA: 25-21; 1st Pacific Coast League American North Division): The Sounds lost 10-7 at Tacoma. Hernan Iribarren and Brendan Katin each had three hits for Nashville, but Tacoma rallied against an early Sounds lead.

HUNTSVILLE (AA: 22-20; 1st Southern League South Division): The Stars split a doubleheader at Tennessee. The Smokies won game one 8-6. Huntsville won game two 7-1. In game one, the Smokies scored three runs in the fifth and three runs in the sixth to erase a 6-2 Huntsville lead. In game two, Vinny Rottino drove in three runs with a first inning double and Donovan Hand allowed one unearned run over five innings to get the win.

BREVARD COUNTY (High-A: 27-11; 1st Florida State League East Division): The Manatees were rained out on Tuesday.
